Instead, I will put an update on life.

I haven’t been working on my High School. With a full time job, volunteering on the weekend, the Frodo course, and being in the ‘adult world’, I completely ran out of time. Something was going to give, and I didn’t want it to be my sanity. So that has been put on hold until my contract at the NAC is over in August.
I am loving my dog trainer course. I took it originally so that I would have an amazing thing to put on my CV for veterinary school, but now I am thinking that as long as it is fiscally possible, this is something I could do with my life. With the exception of ballroom dancing, I have never loved an activity so much. I can SEE myself doing this. I can imagine working day by day with dogs and teaching people.I think it is slightly ironic that I have a Masters degree and may spend my life teaching dogs, but I don’t think that is necessarily a ‘waste’ as some people seem to think. I will be doing something I love, even if it’s only part time. I will continue to learn, and I will have the time to do things for myself and those I love.
Life just keeps coming, and I know this is not nearly the end of it, but I am oddly comforted by the changes it is sending my way. I couldn’t predict that I would be here, not even if I tried, but I am happy that I am here. Here is good, and I look forward to seeing my next phase, because I’m sure I won’t be able to predict that either.
I like this attitude of: “Why talk about bad people when I can talk about good stuff?”
ReplyDeleteBesides, I think it’s worth noting that a certain special dude will always be there to help you along the way!
This post made me smile. So much love! <3
